Did you like how they portrayed the silence, the fear, the despair, the loneliness when they were out there?  People complain that that part was the "slow" part of the movie, but that's only for the people who were anticipating explosions and such.  It's really hard to convey the awesomeness of the book on screen sometimes, but I thought they did it rather well.  Also, I feel like the real fans of the series weren't very bothered by this.  I liked it actually.

It certainly was a "Road movie", and the setup is totally different from the other six books. I mean, the drearyness, the lonliness, the emptiness of the situation reminded more of "The Road" than other Harry Potters haha. But I thought the pacing was pretty good. Not perfect, but never enough to make you look away from the screen for a second.

And I thought the movie had plenty of action and tense moments: The 7 Harrys scene, the battle in Godric's Hollow (freaky!), the opening of the locket (Soooo crazy), the Tale of the Three Brothers, running from the snatchers (I thought this part was shot very well!), battle at Malfoy Manor... these all seperated the traveling sequences very well.

This movie showed that being a "Hero" isn't about beating up the bad guy and saving the girl in 24 pages like a Comic book. It's tiring, it's lonely, it's grating... I thought the movie did a great job of portraying this. ^_^

Also, I laughed pretty hard when George walked down to see Harry and Ginny snogging... with his toothbrush in his ear hole.

Yeah that got some good laughs in my theater lol.  Also, when Ron and Harry started messing with Hermione's lamp in the tent, bahahaha!
