i trade alot of gamers. when they beg me to trade in my games i go home i look at them and ask "will i ever play them again' and usually its 'no i wont' so i take them in and trade since games are just far too expensive here in Australia. Currently i have 8 games in my collection but i have traded and bought so many more.
But i haven't really been buying an heap of games. I bought 3 last year. And around 11 this year majority imported at 50% cheaper or old games.
So basically i have gone reverse instead of buying less i am buying more since i bought my PS3 a few years back. And 2011 is no expection were my funds are going to be burned up because there are SO many games i want next year.
so to answer your question. No because i had very small controll over my gaming over mos tof my life 1995-2008 with my older brother in control of the PS1, PS2 and the 360. But when i got my PS3 i am basically hooked onto gaming and now with the ability to buy the games i want i am buying alot of games this gen since i missed out on so many last 15 years.
