If it's a Sony then all the following Full HD models are considered to be at the top and a good value for your money
(from the most expensive with more spec to the cheapest)
KDL 40X3500 > 40W3000 > 40D3000 > 40V3000
If it's a Samsung
The LE40M91 is a good TV though a little overpriced for its capacity, therefore I'd recommend the LE40M73BD with roughly the same spec but with a lower price
The Samsungs are also known for having slightly saturated colours.
