1. This is pathetic and exactly why I don't buy Apple. It will have only been a year since the first I-Pad hit shelves and they are launching another one? I know every rich kid on the block is going to want one heck it even sounds cool to me. But the last one just came out. I know alot of Apple fans who bought the first one will go out and buy the new one, bringing sales higher and higher.

2. But is it a good investment for the average Canadian or American or European? Its an over sized I-Phone from what I've experianced. I remember seeing a tablet laptop by Acer a few years ago. The keyboard could slip out or you could use the touch screen. Sure the thing cost 1,200$ but it was sure alot more value then this over priced over sized phone.

3. Personally I'm looking at what Microsoft's going to put out with Windows 7, or the new Google pad. But I'm going to stay far away from the I-Pad. I don't have money to constantly upgrade every year!

1. I hope you don't buy TVs because they come out with new models every year. Obviously a revision addresses many of the reasons why someone may not have got one first time around and also allows them to use better components because people want cameras and a bit more performance given the limitiations on both.

2. I've put an iTouch next to an iPad to check the difference. There is a huge difference in size. It is like you're working on a 13" laptop and then switch to 3x 30" monitors for your desktop. Is it a good investment? Given the fact that most people buy a $500 laptop to surf the web, send emails and go on Facebook and it does it just as well as a laptop if you consider the conflicting pros/cons then sure its worth the money. People don't buy specs they buy what the thing does for them.

3. They'll come out with new models every 6-12 months as well. However if you buy a Google tablet you'll be just like the guy who bought an Xbox last generation, you won't get all the software support.
