Uncharted 2 only had 188k pre-orders in Americas and sold 417k first week.  At the same ratio, GT5 will easily pass 300k pre-orders which puts it at 665k first week. 

 

Uncharted 2 has also went on to sell 10 times in the Americas what it had for pre-orders. (1.88 mil vs 188k). For GT5, that would put it over 3 million in the Americas.

 

Oh and Uncharted 2 has only been on the market for a little over a year. Numbers WILL increase.

 

I know its not a very good comparison, but the PS3 has a lower Pre-orders/First Week ratio than the 360, meaning the gap in pre-orders to Week 1 sales is much larger for the PS3 than the 360. I wouldn't take pre-order numbers to heart, especially with a game we KNOW will sell well.
