Why didn't you just name it "me crying and talking shit about the best games of this generation"?
You say you actually had fun with these games and enjoyed them? Well Here's your description of GTA IV: "Stupid , Crap, Boring, Meaninless, a huge step down from the other games, a huge disappointment, and a massively overrated piece of shit of a game."
- You are entitled to your opinnion, but you are not really giving a single reason for not liking GTAIV here. You're just whipping together a bunch of negative words. I for one think that GTAIV is hands down the best sandbox game ever created. It took the Grand Theft Auto formula and perfectly brought it into this generation. Every car feels different and drives in its own way. The shooting mechanics were improved dramatically and the cover system worked pretty fucking good for a world that big. Racing, dealing drugs and killing people never felt this good. The choices you made in the game had an impact and you actually control the ending that you get. These all seem basic and standard now but GTA IV was the first game to do it. You guys can cry all you want, but a very huge majority of critics agree with me. You can call me and all these critics retards for liking it, but at least we state our reasons.
The Uncharted and Gears series are easily the two best new IP's of this generation. Both went into territory no game before them had gone. Gears of War made co-op shooters what they are today. It is my definition of a perfect third person shooter. Amazing story, amazing gameplay, amazing characters, amazing music, amazing everything. Uncharted is much the same. With its mix of shooting and climbing, as well as beautiful enviornments, music and gameplay mechanics, it makes other 7th generation platformers look like a joke.
FFXIII is the greatest game in the series since FFVII, just sayin. And it's the lowest rated Final Fantasy game in a long time so I don't even know how you call it overrated.
