Having played all the SC's I recommend picking up the HD remake collection of the first 3, skipping Double Agent and absolutely ignoring the existence of Conviction. Seriously, Conviction can be released wherever it wants to. It's no loss to one platform nor any gain to another.
But enjoy the HD collection. I have the original 3 on Xbox but I may pick these up with the proper incentive and pricing...
