I think what he means is Forza and GT5 look very clinical and clean. They're both extremely clear games and real life is a bit more varied and messy than these two games make it out to be. Shift 2 will be making things more action oriented and flashy with blur, camera effects/bobbling, more varied crash damage, etc.And honestly Shift 1 already did all that stuff better than Forza and GT5 because it initially set out to do it that way. It's not better, it's just different. To include all these effects in real time they'll be taking a performance hit. They also most likely don't know the hardware as well as either first party team involved in GT5 and Forza so they'll be taking a performance hit when including all this stuff and will not be able to achieve 60 fps while doing so.

If that's not what he means then we should stop listening to this nutbag and start twiddling our thumbs in anticipation for the GT5 release...
