Obviously this news is tempered by the fact that Ubisoft came out just before and said that Move cannot sell core games when they revealed their sales for R.U.S.E. didn't perform up to expectations and that was attributed to Move buyers not being interested in core titles.

I'm gonna go ahead and suggest that RUSE would have sold 20K less on PS3 if it didn't have Move support and it would be at about the same sales as the 360 version. So Move pushed RUSE about as much as it could be pushed. I've got it and I'm liking it well enough, though I'm not glued to it like I was glued to games like Age of Empires II and Age of Mythology for months.

Oh, and Squill, there's something buggy about Civ IV on my PC, or rather there's something buggy on my PC about Civ IV.

Well you're obviously wrong about Move and RUSE but thats beside the point. It was a Move game and it flopped. Obviously it was the fault of Move. Precedent demands that I take this line of thinking. If its good enough for the Wii then well it has to be ported to the PS3 as well.

Regarding Civ IV do you have patch 1.51 or thereabouts? Also have you updated your video card driver?

The short answer: No. Haven't done the patch , and haven't upgraded video card driver (didn't even know one could, no idea how to do it).
