Stop complaining my power bill was $1700AUD for three months during winter.
Since our dollar is worth more than the US now well...
The reason they do peak pricing is to spread the peaks to minimise damage of the electricity network. Here in Aus we don't do pricing like that yet but it is coming.
At the moment themore you use the less it costs
there are three tiers
first - 21cent per kW
second like 18cents
third like 14cents.
I noticed that in california the more you use the higher the price goes up per tier lol.
