for the rest of Asia , reason is Region Locking, the 360 and Wii are region locked, and if they sell a US Wii or 360 without selling US games as well then they're screwing with the costumer, and since everyone likes their games in english rather than japanese, then they sell american consoles not asian ones, as for europe that is true, but again not everyone in europe imports UK consoles (i don't really know the reason really), most of the consoles they have come from US.

Do us 360's and wii's work over seas? Aren't the power outlets/voltages different? I think this would only apply to those in US army bases as they may have US outlets/voltages. I could very well be wrong though

We use adaptors like this for 360 and Wii.
PS : They're HEAVY 
(3 times heavier than the 360)
as for PS3 its region friendly,it works on all regions without an adaptor.
