Actually only the "Main account holder" can buy stuff via the CC info on the account.
If you were the main account then you could buy stuff, but your friends could not, unless they added points to their accounts using a point card.
All 4 accounts need to be on a single 360 to add them to the family pack, after that is done though you can then recover the gamertags onto other consoles.
