Even Sony seems to be working against it with their offering of digital downloads of movies. So by the time the next Xbox comes out I think very few people will care if it has Blu-Ray or some other proprietary format because by then digital downloads will have already won. Blu-Ray will be seen in much the same way that we see portable CD players compared to portable MP3 players today. |
