It rips off the following by:
Resistance (You will litterally see a creature that is about 95% identical to a Chimera, you will also see the same kind of tubes used where the chimera were transferring bodies to create Chimera)
Gears of War (The flying locusts with tenticals are seen except they vary slightly with colored eyeballs)
Mass Effect 2 (The huge ass colector that looked almost identical to the Harbinger except it had legs)
Independance Day (Some plot elements were exactly the same except executed poorly i.e. the destruction of a ship with a nuke...and SUPRISE you can guess what happens)
