The PS3 is more of a multimedia hub than the 360, i mean i can't even copy my ipod music to my 360 to play them, nor videos i toke from my camera, but on PS3 i can do that, and ontop of that, Sony is going Apeshit crazy on Apps lately, there is so many (though most of them i can't use)

So 360 and PS3 and Wii are never going to be "No longer a gaming console" but rather expanding on other mediums while keeping the core intact, i have no complain about that, i can replace other stuff with them for space which is great IMO

Very debatable.  I dont think being able to copy data makes a "media hub"

It is integration into ones network like windows media center that creates true hubs, couple that with instant on 1080p streaming for movies etc and I think there is almost nothing to choose between them whichever your preferemce is.

They are equally capable in my opinion.  Just a question of knowing how.

thats actually how i copy my media, if you don't know , you can stream anything on the PS3 via UPNP connection (like Windows Media Player, thats one of the UPNP media servers), on the Xbox you can only stream , but on PS3 you can stream and copy that media to your hardrive.

plus on PS3 there are more supported media servers such as the one i use most since i am a ubuntu user, Rhythmbox, the 360 is locked to Windows apps, only if you install third party software you can unlock support for more media servers, but i don't blame Windows for locking support for their own products.
