Makes me think, those notes really appeal to our brain and we dont like some of those songs for other reasons like lyrics, an annoying melody or drum rithm on top of those 4 chords or what the artist that made the song represents. |
Ever since the beginning of music we have constantly drifted further from consanance and used more dissonance. But we still have that soft spot for a I IV V I progression in C major because it's so accesible and easy to listen to.
