I really don't know where to stand on such matters.
To verbally abuse someone using racist terms is stupid but it's freedom of speech.
Banning or outlawing people from making racists remarks don't solve the problem of racism it just hides it away.
At the same time I won't want to hear or read racial insults whenever I go out or go to an online forum like VGCharts etc.,
Now to be physically abused is a different matter.
Hitting a woman is a big NO the way I was brought up but if I was that guy the slap (after all the verbals) would have been a stretch too far and I would have found it difficult not to hit back.
I suppose it's a bit naive these days but you know "sticks and stones" and all that...then again...
The fact that he was fired is far more worrying, why? Because he is black?
