People act surprised, the darn launch even is at the 23rd and we've known about it for a while. Also the India branch of Sony already stated it was the 24th, but it's great news all in all to have 'real confirmation' from Sony as a whole. But yea, what people expect, the launch event to come and go and the game not to be released? Crazy talk! Launch events from what I've experienced are the day prior to the games release...
