I have enough space in my living room if I remove a lot of stuff. It's not just space but open space with nothing between you and Kinect. Like someone mention even two players trying to play table tennis with Move requires a lot of space so you don't have to worry about running into each other and other objects. Even with Move/PSeye you really need to be 8 feet from the camera to have some space between the players.
