Digital Foundry didn't conclude that... just 360 has better resolution and framerate... not 3D experiense.

I don't know what you would call this statement then...

"Bearing in mind all the hard work PlayStation 3 has done as the standard-bearer for true stereoscopic 3D console gaming, it's a bit of a blow that Black Ops just doesn't work particularly well on the Sony platform and it's clearly the Xbox 360 game that offers a smoother, superior-looking experience." on page 3

The truth is, both versions have pathetic 3D immersion as neither lets you adjust the 3D depth and 3d conversion like the PC version. However 360 runs smoother in 3D...thats pretty much all there is to it.

I read the article and skiped this part... how can this happen? I do not know.

So who is telling the truth? Treyarch or DF?

I don't know as I did not play either versions, but I am leaning towards DF more.

One thing about 3D that people still don't understand is that its really simple tech. Its been around for 20 years...

In todays day and age, all that is needed for 3D gaming is horsepower. Usually pure video card horsepower determines the 3D performance. This is the reason why people gaming on PC in 3D need 500 dollar video cards...

If a game runs smoother in 2D on a platform, it is 99.9% given that it will run smoother and better in 3d as well. There are no smoke and mirrors that PS3 does, which 360 can't which make PS3 more 3D capable.

It just comes down to raw videocard horsepower.
