Apparently it's a lot more common for men to faint from drawing blood than it is for women. Maybe because women are sort of used to losing blood. Because it's not really the seeing blood for me, no problems with nosebleeds or cuts either, and the problems with drawing blood are there regardless whether I'm looking or not.

I used to faint from just the needle approaching when I was a kid, regardless of whether it was for blood or an injection, but it was just sort of a quick faint. Blood drawing gets the full repertoire, dilated pupils, sweating, ears ringing, feeling sick, colour draining from face, and at the end of it I might or might not faint.

It's cool though, I always get a coffee and a chocolate bar after that.
