Only half the time? I can't remember a time I didn't faint while giving blood. There is no way I would join the military, especially living in the U.S. I have no desire going to the Middle East. Plus I am not exactly in good shape and I don't have the right body type to get into great physical shape. If I had to join anything it would be the National Gaurd which is suppose to be for the actual DEFENSE of the U.S. You stay at home and when the country gets attacked at home that is when they get activated. |
Haha... oh yeah that's another one.
Everytime I try to give blood I faint too... heck I don't even get to the giving blood part. I can't even get past the pin prick to test your blood type.
I blame injection injury phobia... though i mean really, it's just a fear of having my blood drained/being on blood.
Dunno what it is about that... but it freaks me right out.
I mean, i cut myself and bleed? Perfectly fine. Bleeding nose? Happens all the time. Shots... again no problem.
Blood drawn? Nope. Might have to do with an old story a while back where someone on some TV show or a person i knew said that if their was an airbubble in a needle (which would be hard to detect) it would kill you instantly.
