Microsoft’s eagerly-awaited Kinect device is now on sale after enjoying a gittering lunch party at London’s Natural History Museum last night. During the event, pop group The Wanted and X Factor star Leona Lewis were there to welcome the Kinect’s arrival with attendees skating at the museum’s open-air ice rink or playing at one of the many game booths. Retailers up and down the country witnessed thousands of consumers lining-up to buy Microsoft’s £130 device. However, stock is expected to be an issue with some customers expected to be left disappointed. “We are delighted to put Kinect into people’s living rooms and turn science fiction into science-fact,” Microsoft’s general manager for the Entertainment and Devices Division in the UK and Ireland Neil Thompson stated. “Kinect transforms games and entertainment experiences, offering an intuitive and simple way that everyone will enjoy.” http://www.incgamers.com/News/25904/thousands-line-up-as-microsoft-launches-kinect
