Im sorry but pretty much everything I've played thats exclusive to PS3 is "hollywodized" way more than stuff on 360.

Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Killzone 2...all visually focused games which concentrate on the cinematic visual experience over actual playing. Only Uncharted 2 has gameplay to match its visuals and presentation IMO out of thsoe 4 games...

Why do you think 720 would continue this trend more than PS4?

I personally love what the 360 is doing with its XBL Arcade approach and as long as they keep doing that, the true form of a videogame (rather than an interactive movie) will never die.

even before ff games were visual but that is not we are talking about

 

visuals is not hollywoodization,its about how the the glamorous and COOL and hyped up games become

like putting 50 cent in MW2

the japanese and the core culture bit of diminished this gen as 360 launched earlier and brought out certain types of games and then it became the choice of the industry

 

720 will continue to promote western culture

 

PS4 and wii2(if they participate in third party like other) will bring back the core and the glamour will come down a bit

 

yes PS3 also became a bit hollywood with all the multiplat but that is only because when a type of games are introduced early in that gen,then that becomes the choice and trend of that gen.so PS3 followed the established trend and choice

 

now the question is that if PS3 was successful,will we have this hollywoodization.PS3 would have set a different trend like in PS2 days

Bullshit. All those games he listed, are the direct definition of hollywoodlization. SONY's western studios are just as responsible for this type of game as any other western studio.... dont spin try to spin SONY out of it.
