| disolitude said: First of all, OP never described what he means by "Holywodization". How do you know your itnerpratation is correct? cause hollywoodization has been discussed alot and what you are talking about is not the topic Secondly, the "holywoodization" you describe is a far smaller problem than games becoming like interactive movies IMO. we aren't here to discuss whether its small or big .and just because one is bigger, doesn't mean he will question that only I want to play my games not watch them. well who cares what you like or not just because you don't like it,you don't make any argument about your problems
many like them, many do not but don't drag it towards anythiny you prefer I really don't care that 50 cent or PAtrick Stewart appear in games if they are good playing games. there your preferability many do care as this will lead to further changing of the industry However if they are linear and boring to play only so they could be visually structured like a movie (God of war, Lords of Shadow, Heavy Rain, COD, Medal of Honor...to name a few)...I don't think thats a fair trade off at all. again just because you don't prefer something, don't make it an argument where it is not the topic If taht is the future of videogames, I look forward to spending 95% of my time on xbox live and playing casual games... go ahead thats your choice i would prefer a mix of all things |
