So a...20k debut is great because of the assumption (which i don't buy for one minute) that it will have huge legs ?

Whatever i was commenting on the debut not on what "might" happen in the future. Thankfully we get weekly top-40 for the |U.K so we'll see these "legs"

Of course because the size of a debut has to be put in context. You can't directly compare a game like Fallout: New Vegas (which may sell 40% of lifetime sales in the first few days) to something like Wii Party (which sold less than 5% in the first few days). Some games are all about the first week, others are all about long-term sales. Multiplayer games, Wii games and "Nintendo"-related franchises (which this is, despite being a third-party title) are all games that sell well over sustained periods - this fits all 3 so I don't see why it wouldn't follow the pattern.

For a game in the UK that nobody expected to have a large debut then yes, 20k is perfectly fine.

P.S. Not really a fan of your tone.

How is Wii party similar to goldeneye ??

P.S. not really a fan of threats in gaming forums .
