I haven't seen the second episode. I REALLY don't like what I'm hearing in this thread.

The book is fantastic about avoiding stereotypes. Figures that the show would dumb that down.

I enjoyed most of the second half hour 

When the redneck showed up it just seemed out of place with how the show was progressing
