Lufia 2 is a amazing classic. It got the hardest puzzles ever of all RPGs I have played. Dragon Quest VIII was my favorite in the series.

If you consider yourself a RPG fanatic play Terranigma.
If you have not played CT you can not even say you like (J)RPGs.

 What about if I enjoy some JRPGs, but found Chrono Trigger bland and boring? vv
