I don't think he read or at least, understand what you're telling him. LOL.

He needs a reason to blame the PSP failure to overtake the handheld gaming by storm.

And you're taking that reason away by showing him how much easier it is to pirate on the DS.

but BOTH of you seem to either ignor or stay blind to the fact the the majority of the DS market DON'T pirate games and the VAST majority of the psp market do.........

No one's ignoring that, though I don't think we have the figures to say conclusively.  DS piracy is basically "mainstream" at this point, and it could also very easily be the "majority" at this point.

Even if true though, that doesn't mean there's more PSP piracy than DS piracy either, and more importantly high piracy doesn't inherently preclude a legitimate software market.  That's my point, that DS still manages a somewhat healthy software market despite huge piracy during it's active lifespan.  So did PS1, so did PS2, so did GBA, so did Xbox, so does Wii.  Just because PSP is plagued by piracy, doesn't mean that alone should cripple software sales, the issues really run deeper than that...

It's impossible to explain to someone who refuse to listen, though.
