You see, you say this, but I bet your life impacted by modern technology more than you care to think. It's not just the first hand technology you encounter everyday, there's also a lot of technology going on behind the scenes which your life is entirely dependant on. For example, how long would you last without the Haber process? Within weeks you would likely be starving. What about if the Internet went down? Sure you couldn't visit forums which you could live without, but the communication infrastructure the Internet provides would make the logistics of many businesses far more difficult. You would start to find hospitals without enough medicine and supermarkets without enough food if the internet suddenly went down. When you think about all the advances that come with modern technology such as medicine, building construction, bio-engineering, communications, transport, fertilisers, chemical engineering, mass production, etc, you'd probably find it too big a culture shock to adapt to a life without technology.

nah, I grew up in an age when nobody had a cellphone and dial up was the only internet option. I was'nt talking about the impact of technology,I was talking about talking how long could you last without turning on a computer,T.V.,smartphone. You know any device that gives you access to the outside world. I think I could last forever without these things, because I grew up in a time, when most of these things were'nt common place. Well the T.V. was common, but most of these other devices weren't. lol
