Your talking about two of the largest cities in the world. I'm talking about Columbus, Ohio. Of course, you can get every major type of food in the largest cities in the world. But what I'm talking about is getting a good diversity of food in a town that is much smaller. My home town (13,000 people) has Italian, German, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, and a few others. Call me crazy, but I doubt you can find that kind of food in every small town in Japan or England. Or maybe I'm wrong. |
Thats not true. My mom lives in a small german village 2000 people. And we have 5 different delievery services. One in this village and 4 around us. Plus various restaurants Greek Italian Turkish Chinese<--- Those are pretty much standard everywhere plus some American Fast Food chains. The delivery services offer Mexican Chinese Spanish Italian Serbian Greek and more. Its because Germany is densly populated and every 2-5 KM there is a town or village (South Germany, West Germany). I have yet to find places here where you cant have almost everything you like delivered.
BTW my experience tells me that in the west the standard is pretty much the same depending on how much people live in a certain area.
To Topic:
I would go for Europe because of the variety. Followed by Asian. Asia loses slightly because I can eat almost everything in all the European Countries but I had some hard time eating some of the Asian specialties.
