What a joke. SH-t happens and if you can't look at something and see what can and can not happen, your and idiot. You sound like people who blame violent games for johnny shooting up the class, not there horrible parenting skills. I play kinect with full grown adults and don't smash them in the face. so I guess i have a massive IQ to know that people can collide when near. Lets all go suit up just in case we fall. |
Too tired to respond. But, what an overreaction. Wait 'til kids by themselves start holding things while playing, and then tell me again about IQ level, and misunderstood connotations.
I'm not going to argue with someone with Kinect in their sig. That would be a fool's errand. Motion control and kinect have changed gaming, and while a lot of it is for the better there are some trade-offs. It would be extremely ignorant to not acknowledge that. Just look up youtube videos of people hitting each other with wiimotes. Do people of the same stripe record videos or injuries in sports to post it on youtube? No. Those kind of people are another type of antagonist.
They post the videos because they're not expected to happen. Call it a novelty. This is a new thing people are experiencing. So, yes. There is a measure of surprise at what is happening. And it's not because of low IQ, it's because of conditioning.
