Yup.  I thought the whole visual side of Vader's "birth" was fantastic.  The mask lowering, Anakin's wide, tortured eyes watching it descend on him, the fist hiss of breath...

then Lucas runied it by managing to somehow waste the only use of James Earl Jones fantastic voice in the prequels as well as decided to have a brief hommage to Frankenstein in Vader's first, stumbling steps coupled to some terrible dialogue.

Even though it's a bit of a cheat, the final shots with the Death Star did feel like a nice setup for future events.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
