Interesting thread...

In Calgary I was at four EB Games/Gamestop, a Best Buy, two Future Shops, 2 Wal-Marts, a Costco, and a Super Store today.

All had sold out of Kinect sensors and were awaiting new stock.

You can readily get 360 Kinect bundles, but sensors are non-existent where I went.  In many cases the games were also scarce.  Especially the non-Microsoft games.

Yah I saw some games in stock but must agree other then Microsoft's official games I think I only saw Dance Central and Sonic Free Ride in stock. They had these cute Kinectimals limited editions with a little stuffed tiger inside.

Wow I wonder why its so readily availible here in Abbotsford? I checked with my sister further North and she said they are in stock there too. But up North is always in stock Wii was avaible day one in store up there I guess their just isn't much gaming demand.

Anyone from Vancouver, Abbostford is the fastest growing city in BC and one of the biggest but it would be cool to hear if Vancouver is in stock too.

I wonder why Calgary would be so sold out, maybe Microsoft ships more units to BC then Alberta.

Also today I saw something funny. I saw a Sony rep in the Microsoft section checking out Kinect. He had a lanyard with Sony on it and a card that read Sony and I asked him how to get a job with Sony doing his job and he said I just needed to apply. I had to check to see if he was legitametly Sony.

So now the question is why was the Sony guy writing stuff down and checking out the Microsoft section of FutureShop? A few minutes later he returned to the Sony section and was talking to FutureShop staff. But I thought it was sort of weird that he was checking out Kinect. I wonder if Sony reps are reporting on Kinect stock?
