PSP2 is closer than ever to launch with a 3D glasses less screen

Yah right, with fire power between 360-PS3 and a back touch pad and now 3D this console would be like 600-700$ impossible for Sony to be that stupid. Sony knows that 250-300$ is the max most consumers will pay for a handheld. Also Sony would be foolish to launch another console at a loss. Also think of battery life 3D is bound to eat alot of power and combined with the high proscessing power of the PSP2's other features what would it have a 2-4 hour battery life?

Also Sony has only half a year to complete their development of the PSP2, they don't have time to develop a glasses free screen. Look at the price of Toshiba's glasses free TV's, it just isn't viable for Sony. This time they can't logically copy Nintendo.

Isn't that the regular battery life for a PSP?

I thought it was around 8 hours with the 3000. I could be wrong at launch I believe they said if you used the PSP for watching a movie or playing a game it lasted like 5 hours, if you listened to music it lasts longer. In the end I don't use my PSP for more then two or three hours at a time, on trips I play both my DS and PSP so on a longer trip I'll play DS like 4 hours and PSP like 2 or 3.

I've never had the PSP battery die on me at least while playing. I always charge it up before every trip!
