Now if the standalone units are selling out to the current core crowd then that just bodes well for the more casual audience as well. Of course MS wants to sell more consoles. And Kinect should cause a considerable bump in console sales combined with the remodeled box. But the standalone selling well is also a good thing. Its great for the devs too. The more of them that are out there the better a position these companies will be in to turn a profit.
