^that is not what she said, she said you can add people to allies online, meaning recent people you have played with. Voice chat will be with friends, but you can text message people who are on your friends and allies list. This  text messaging might be quick pre-made messages or full keyboard support, we do not know. I do not think you will be able to voice chat with just anyone, that will be Conduit 2.

Treyarch are the reasons why Conduit 2 is getting all of these online features. Treyarch have been negotiating with Nintendo since before the release of Modern Warfare: Reflex, and with the Call of Duty series proven to be very successful on the Wii, Nintendo has given Treyarch quite a bit of leeway on what they can do.

ok.....

What does any of that have to do with what she actually stated in the interview in which this thread was created from? She said you can text chat with allies (pre-fabricated messages or not), she wouldn't have made a point to bring this up if you could also voice chat with them. Allies are not "friends", they are Allies. Friends are who you add yourself with a code, those are who you will be voice chatting with. Also, HVS has been negotiating with Nintendo as far back as the first Conduit, you can't chalk it up JUST to Treyarch for any of this. Capcom also was the first to get voie chat with anyone on Monster Hunter Tri. Conduit 2 will be the second, not Black Ops.
