This is going to be the trend then. Wii was, is and will always be doomed, and Kinect is "supported in a big way" and "selling out" and is "going to be hard to get"

The way and timing that third parties changed their attitude towards motion controls is making me frustrated. They're so blatantly obvious.

Keep in mind UbiSoft was the biggest supporter of Wii at launch. UbiSoft was like the only publisher other then Sega to really believe in the Wii and Nintendo. So don't hate on UbiSoft they might not have made any killer games for the Wii but at least they had faith when EA and others did not.

They did?

Oh, I take back what I said then.

I wasn't following what third parties said up until 2008, so I don't remember much of the Wii launch, other than some very stupid claims made by some (like that april fools article about Wii winning and epic declaring the Wii doomed and bashing it before launch etc).

Yah EA also said Wii was doomed and so did most publishers and developers. But UbiSoft was like the only company (Besides Sega) who actually thought the Wii would take off. They both physically and verbally showed support. Notice how several launch window titles like Red Steel and Far Cry came from UbiSoft. Sure their games weren't all that great but at least they supported Nintendo out of the gate.

Yah Epic loves to bash Nintendo, they have already started bashing 3DS. I'm alittle concerned UbiSoft and Sega have given up on the hardcore demographic but they are still two of Nintendo's biggest supporters today.
