I feel the same about motion controls. Do people really want them? Or do corporations just want them to be the new norm?

I think people do want 3D, after all, 2D TVs would have never existed if it was possible to create simple 3D TVs. What people want is a cheap, out of the box ready experience with standard media they can easily use.
