The fact that Alan Wake is being bundled and It's in a download card form - not disc - should say quite a bit about Alan Wake 2. Obviously MS has a good understanding that people are willing to pay for the DLC for Alan Wake, and obviously there are not a lot of "spare discs" to go around if its in the form of a download card. Course being a download card probably also pushs people towards XBL.
It's just that simple.
