I often find myself buying multi-plats for whatever happens to be cheapest at the time, although I've bought quite a few initially on console, only to rebuy them for PC when a game I enjoyed that I wanted on PC as well was slashed in price.

Bioshock 2, even on Steam, gave me some ridiculous problems with the SecuROM DRM that involved multiple contacts with the SecuROM service department before I finally gave up and held off on trying to play until I had a new boot drive with a fresh OS install set up. The only upside was that it was only $15, but that's little comfort if you can't play the game without having to reinstall EVERYTHING on a reformatted drive.

The Games for Windows requirement is also complete garbage. In short, if you're not signed on, you can't save your game, which is practically the same thing as reducing the game to a demo.
