It was not my first Star Wars movie, I was already a huge fan of the old trilogy and normally I like the idea of showing how everything began. The only bad thing about it was... Jar Jar Binks (expected, isn't it^^). The Jedi battles were cool, the space battles were really good, pod racing was great, etc. I'm done. |
It's the herd metality of a generation who no longer looks through the eyes of a child, but through the eyes of the jaded, "everything needs attitude" and witty one-liners generation they became. I'm guessing if at some point Qui-gon and Obi Wan had done a slow-mo, walking-away-from-a-huge-explosion-with-our-backs-to-the-flames scene the movie would have gotten a lot more approval from my genertion.
10/10 for me. Depending on my mood, it can be my favorite SW movie.
