well, yeah, i m not fair with MS

but, really, the only thing that function (understand = big cash cow) is their "automatic" window7 update

Why oh why did you even need to go there?  If you took a look at the current sales data given out by both Sony and Microsoft, you would see that Microsofts EDD division (xbox 360 division) profited more than that of the entire Sony corporation.

So basically your entire post is a failure. /facepalm 

Microsofts EDD division (xbox division) 382 million in profits.   Sony's profits for the entire company 375 million......

Microsofts profit for the entire company was insane @ 5.41 billion.....

Overall, whatever how u want to turn it, the EDD division profit is RIDICULUS compared to the total MS profit. The EDD division is far from being their cash cow. Particularly if you take in count all the money lost with the Xbox1.

I was pointing out that even if you took away windows 7 and the rest of MS that the EDD division made more money than all of Sony.  So if they aren't that big then I guess Sony is even smaller.

What does the percentages of the EDD have to do with it?  You stated that xbox 1 lost a shit ton of money, well so has the PS3, probably more so than the xbox 1.  So there really is no need in pointing that out unless you want to see the flaws that the PS3 has had as well.  After all all the profits the PS2 had made was eaten up by the PS3.

Besides, I would imagine that before the end of this gen, MS will have turned a profit over all.  (MS didn't care how much money they lost with the original Xbox, they were just getting their feet in the door to the gaming world.  And I figure that by the time the next box comes out it will be even more profitable than it is now.)
