i dont think Sakaguchi could do anything for the PS3 before because MS gave him the resources for his company, but now the dust has settled and its been a few years, i think he could develop for the PS3.
Square still have 2 FF production teams, theres been no news of the FF12 team in years. so it could just be that only Kitase's production team are the ones doing the main FF's at the moment. if thats the case then its possible, we will instead have Kitase and Toriyama doing FF15 and indeed darth could be right, they will annouce FF15 this Jan.

I remember him saying he hated the PS3 because of Ken Kutaragi. Kaz Hirai has done well getting people who didn't like the console to support it - like Gabe Newell. Maybe he can do the same with Sakaguchi.
