Japan is not relevant in this matter.
It's NA and EU where Square can make a lot of extra money by releasing the game on the 360, like they did with FFXIII.
It makes no sense not to realese Versus on the 360 in NA and EU, because FFXIII didn't sell much in Japan. The extra money is supposed to come from NA and EU, and XIII sold 1,6 million there.
