Shin Sangoku Musou 6 is the name in Japan. The first Dynasty Warriors, a fighting game, was called Sangoku Musou in Japan and when they released the second DW game, which was a drastically different game, they opted to use Shin Sangoku Musou (which can roughly be translated to New Dynasty Warriors). They didn't use a new name for the series outside of Japan, which is why we are one number ahead of them.
