"there is nothing that suggest PS3 version wouldn't have sold more so you should too keep believing that it wouldn't have" |
exactly.
i was not saying it would definetly sell all on a single platform but just answering to that person who commented in a very arrogant way

yeah but they could have gotten those sales on PS3 itself too(NOTE: I said they could not they would have so don't start bashing away)
FF13 sales on 360 are ok not good not bad,now what i meant with this thread was that if they could add a good amount of sales with japan then they would like it more to come to 360.So good japan sales for 360 is a plus but if they bomb and are not happy with the current sales then it would be negative

If more can play Versus, then good for them. If it goes multiplat I could see VS doing 1-1.5 million on the 360 alone so why not port it? |
nobody debating whether its good or bad and not everything is about console wars
so if you don't want to talk about whats on debate then please don't post and don't try to start any kind of a war
| Cirio said: Nah. The success of FFXIII in the West is good enough to warrant a VsXIII port on the 360. There is absolutely no logical reason to why SE wouldn't port it. There is an RPG fanbase on the 360 and they would be foolish to ignore it. |
well what if the RPS fanbase is switching and PS3 sales are rising fast
| Lord_Yggdrassil said: are you seious?!? what does it matter if it sells 100k in Japan or 500k in Japan? there multiplat decision will NOT be based off FFXIII 360 sales. If Vs went multiplat then 95% of it's potential "360" sales would be from outside Japan so it's irrelevant. |
yeah but what if they could get those sales on a single platform
now if japan sales are also big then they would come out on both
| kurasakiichimaru said: It's probably going multiplat but not due to japan, it's because of ww sales. |
and japan sales are a part of worldwide sales
| Cirio said: Uhhh, no? The 360 port was announced when the Japanese PS3 version was almost done, and the port didn't even start until after the Japanese release. The only thing that was "lost" was this one park which they later considered to add as DLC but decided to drop it (even that wasn't dropped because of the 360 port). The multiple DVDs have nothing to do with content because they can just throw in another DVD if needed. It's fanboy delusional talk when they say the 360 was the reason for "no towns". SE spent over half of the development cycle just making the game engine, they had to sacrifice something unless people were willing to wait another 1-2 years. |
what?
the port started way before the last december's japan FF13 release.if you think otherwise then you are very wrong
the multiple dvd's have alot to do with linearity but this has nothing to do with the thread
