dude are you drunk posting? :)

You think Conservatives feel they will get shafted in an Emergency Room if we have to many illegal aliens? Sorry, but that's not it. The only concern they have with respect to medical is cost.

The real problem they have with it, is conservatives don't like the federal government breaking the law on anything. To be the one in charge of enforcing something, anything, and then say "we don't like that law, so we will do nothing about it" pisses off people who want to live in a country of laws.

People who care about the rule of law tend to be conservatives.

That's a ridiculous generalization.  It just depends on the laws we are talking about.  Conservatives generally supported the Patriot Act, the (undeclared by Congress) war in Iraq, the torture of prisoners, and warrantless wiretaps.

Water Gate!!! Nixon's wire tapping was ahead of his times. Wire tapping and is used by most police services in the modern word. Gestapo/Stasi style policing is rampant.

Wars on Terrorism fighting wars in Middle East and governments  enforcing draconian laws on their own citizens. Anyone can be considered a terrorist under the new Anti-Terrorist laws. Countless innocent people are taken away to an undisclosed location and interrogated for 30 days without legal representation. Governments continuously  interfere with people's civil rights and liberties.

The breach of privacy and intrusion into citizens lives by governments is all to keep us safe and secure from terrorism. George W. Bush and other neo-cons continuously push their used car sales pitch : "You are all safe and secure with me and Please trust me".
