The religious right is the group that tends to meet the stereotype your talking about, although most don't fit into your view of them.
Conservatives are the party of small government. This means while some of them might have the same views as you posted, they don't feel it's the governments place to dictate morality.
As for the first paragraph, that's just wrong. I am sure if there was a way to get 100,000 immigrants a day into this country legally, most people would not have a problem with it.
One of the groups of people who have a high percentage of dislike for illegal aliens, are legal aliens. How do you map that fact into your world view?
