I don't watch MMA as much as I used to. Often times now I won't even bother to watch MMA events and will only download individual fights afterwards if they are exciting or have an exciting finish (ie. Takanori Gomi knocking out Tyson Griffin). MMA can be really exciting but to be honest the ground game can be rather boring much of the time, particularly when fighters play it safe and grind out a decision instead of being active and looking for the knock out or submission. Before I used to catch every UFC and a number of other MMA events. I'd even download old UFC and PRIDE FC events. I didn't start to regularly watch PRIDE (or the UFC for that matter) until after PRIDE FC was dead.

I watched the Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez fight recently. I enjoyed seeing Brock getting beat. But it's embarrassing to see a guy like Brock being the champion. Brock doesn't like getting hit. What kind of a champion is so afraid of getting hit like that? He's the White Bob Sapp. I'm glad that Brock is no longer champ and we have a real fighter (Cain Velasquez) as UFC heavyweight champion. And to think that people were saying that Lesnar would destroy Fedor. lol. A guy that afraid of getting hit would be raped by Fedor.

Seeing as how this is a videogame site and a MMA thread, I take it most people here have played the UFC Undisputed videogames? I own 2009 and rented 2010. Personally I'm not really much of a fan of the Undisputed videogames anymore. EA Sports MMA was much better. Though I'm not very good with using the right stick for striking and I have troubles with the ground game (specifically being able to advance position while conserving stamina) so I had trouble with human opponents online and higher level AI opponents (ie. Fedor, Alistair Overeem) on Legend difficulty. I also played the PRIDE FC videogame for the PS2. I haven't touched the old UFC videogames (a friend of mine had Tapout for the original Xbox) though.

As for K-1, I've watched a number of events. Though I haven't seen a K-1 event since the 2009 WGP. I played the K-1 World GP videogame on the PS2 as well. I would love it if there was a new K-1 videogame for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
